McCotter's Marina, Dock B, Slip No. 26

Dock B, Slip No. 26 has been our home for the better part of a week.  It's a pretty little marina with a handful of people living on their boats.  There's Brian and Ruthann who are headed down to the Bahamas in a few days on their 40' Bristol. Ralph, a crusty, pipe smoking sailor on a houseboat of sorts, and another single older guy who lives on his fishing boat.  Everyone has gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful.  Along with the sailors there is always a handful of dogs running around.  A couple are marina dogs, owned by someone who works here at the marina, while little, black, Midnight is owned by Brian and Ruthann.  They are all the friendliest, happiest, mellow dogs you've ever seen.  So here's a few pictures of our animal menagerie here at McCotter's.
Midnight, a pint size cutie.

We spent two and a half days, cleaning our new home.  She was dirty!  The previous owner basically let her sit for the last two years. (nothing should ever sit without upkeep, but especially a boat!) We had alot of mildew, and just plain dirtiness to clean up.  Gotta love Simple Green!  It's my new favorite cleaner.  We had planned to depart on Sunday morning, but Terry is finishing up the batteries, working on the bilges and the windlass today.  Here's a few pictures of the inside of Obsession after the cleaning process.

Our Cozy Cabin

Well, I've gotta finish getting ready for meeting.  More pictures to come this afternoon.
