Red Sky at Night, Sailors Delight

Sailors delight, you say?  Hey, wait a minute. . . yes, you probably guessed it.  As most of you have probably heard, Terry and I have decided to head back down to St. John.  We truly love Montana and have made some amazing life long friends (who promise to visit us, and we're holding them to that!).  For various reasons we've decided to do the boat thing once again and head back down to the islands.  It was this year's Circuit Overseer's video about going where the need was great that really got us thinking.  We want to make ourselves available to do more spiritually and that is just not doable in Montana right now.  St. John currently has two elders so there is definitely a need there as well.

We also have some fun goals for our return to St. John, boat to boat witnessing, going down island to help for a few months, volunteering in Warwick in the summer months, going to Anegada (a small British island with one or two publishers) the list goes on and on.   We are very excited and have started looking for boats, a long, tedious process.  Terry is currently in North Carolina checking one out as I type this, a 37' Hunter, . . . sailing right now no less!

Here's a few pictures of what we are looking forward to.

Our first sailboat, a 40' Hunter, was named Rush(the name she came with).  We're naming the next one Time.  We're done with Rushing.  :)

Mark Twain once said:  “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you
didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Our sweet little Kingdom Hall on St. John.  We were able to help build it.  There is now a side room on the left hand side that the Spanish used when they were just a group.

The Hey Now.  The dive boat that Terry will be driving and diving from once again.

Boats are the nearest things to dreams that hands have ever made.

Considering that somehow we have skipped fall altogether this year (so disappointing since it's my favorite season) it's hard to say when we'll be on our way but we'll keep you posted.
