Spring is in the Air

Well, it's summer actually but we have some pretty little Grey Kingfisher's that think it's time to nest.. But unfortunately, they think our bowsprit is the best place for a nest.  We feel awful every time we have to throw their sticks and twigs over board.  If we knew they could hatch the little chicks out in a few weeks we'd let them be, but unfortunately I think it may take much longer than that.  We've dislocated them three times now and they keep coming back!  They even dive bomb our head as we get near their nest.

They really are the cutest little things though. . . . with the sweetest song.

Well, it took literally a month to convince them to next elsewhere.  They still come back from time to time to share their pretty song with us though.

Here's a couple of us out in the ministry a few weeks back.

My service partner for the morning, Jalani.

We had to take shelter under a tree and practically in a bush to get away from a little rain shower that morning.  None the worse for the wear as you can see.
